Senior Manager of Instructional Leadership Development at the Denver Schools of Science and Technology
Roles & Responsibilities
As Senior Manager of Instructional Leadership Development at DSST, I work at the intersection of coaching, professional development, and system-building. I design and facilitate differentiated, data-driven PD for instructional coaches and leaders network-wide, ensuring strategic alignment to DSST’s academic priorities. I coach 16 instructional leaders through ongoing feedback cycles, provide direct support where coaching isn’t yet meeting network benchmarks, and collaborate across teams to ensure coherence between academic and coaching initiatives. Data is central to everything. I regularly analyze leadership, instructional, and student outcomes to assess impact and drive next steps.
Top Three Priorities

Building a high-quality PD ecosystem that is differentiated, data-responsive, and coherent across internal and external facilitators. Developing instructional leaders as coaches — supporting 16 leaders through the kind of rigorous, feedback-rich growth I want them to replicate in their schools. Launching and sustaining new coaching infrastructure, including the multi-tiered coaching development program I designed and launched in January 2025.
Strengths I Bring
I bring layered experience in instructional coaching — having coached teachers, coached coaches, and now designed the systems within which coaching happens. This gives me both credibility and nuance. I am a skilled PD and curriculum designer with a track record of building programs that are rigorous and responsive. My strength in relationship-building allows me to work across diverse school contexts while maintaining trust, and my background as a bilingual, National Board Certified educator grounds everything I do in cultural responsiveness and instructional rigor.

Growth Edges
I am actively working to scale my coaching capacity. Supporting 16 leaders requires thinking more systemically about prioritization and pattern recognition across the coaching landscape, rather than defaulting to leader-by-leader problem-solving. I am also refining my ability to lead through influence across organizational complexity, particularly in aligning facilitators without over-directing. And I want to deepen my grounding in leadership development theory to match the practical experience I bring to this work.
